Windows 7 Not Logging Off
RECOMMENDED:One of our readers has asked a way to disable “Log off” on Windows 7 Start menu. Windows 7 doesn’t allow you remove log off entry from Windows 7 start menu easily. You need to either play with Windows registry or Local Group Policy to make this happen.If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you can remove “Log off” entry via Group Policy. But Windows 7 Home Basic and Home Premium editions don’t come with Group Policy editor.
Windows 7 Stuck Logging Off
So you need to disable the entry via Windows registry.Method 1 of 3. Disable Log off entry on Windows 7 Start menu via Group Policy1. Holding Shift key while shutting down or logging off may not disable automatic logon. Is running Windows 7 or Windows 8. Automatic logon is enabled.
